So I found your blog earlier this year in connection with Dressage things, and then realized that you lived (worked/rode/cut grass?) near-ish to me! And was super excited, but being newly back into horses after an 8-year I-dunno-what recognized no one in your stories. Which is probably good. Now I know what I missed while I was off going to school and making minimum wage. Anyway, hello from Centre Wellington, and congrats on your move!Pishkeenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16261164597093156192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4571933866625297210.post-20571171372890891782014-08-24T15:01:47.668-04:002014-08-24T15:01:47.668-04:00I think the numbers on the chart might be arrangin...I think the numbers on the chart might be arranging the transitions from 1-easiest to 10-hardest? Although it only has the up transitions, I guess they gave up after 10 of them. Not quite 1/2 acre but pretty close and *intense* neighbour pressure. You just feel it. Of course, having them on hands and knees pulling weeds from their own lawns daily is a good hint. wtf.RuckusButthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14760056031442317243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4571933866625297210.post-82597121029694126412014-08-21T19:00:11.476-04:002014-08-21T19:00:11.476-04:00I dejectedly quit checking for updates in the spri...I dejectedly quit checking for updates in the spring . . . sitting here tonight and I think to myself "Maybe I'll check DC's page just one . . . last . . . time." I'm glad you are free from lawn-mowing chores and any other, ahem, encumbrances that did not suit you. Glad, too, that Ms. V has found an excellent home. I hope that you will continue moving forward - sounds like you are if you're training for a marathon.Looking forward to more installments and hearing about all kinds of transitions!

P.S. Planning on staying far away from beavers in the future. Who else uses the analogy of a beaver attacking a man's genitalia and includes video as proof in their blog?
